Binh Phan

I am a graduate student at the University of Hawaiʻi and serve as Data Specialist & Governance Coordinator for the Shepherd Research Lab. I work on secure research enclaves, DICOM ingestion pipelines, and regulatory data governance for the Hawaiʻi Pacific Islands Mammography Registry (HIPIMR).

My technical work centers on data governance practice, NIST SP 800-171 / NIST SP 800-53 CUI compliance, and medical imaging infrastructure, bridging biomedical research with cloud reliability and continuous security controls.
